How often do you trust difficult times?
Most of us answer that with a wobbly... "Not often."
Universal principles teach three important things about difficulty, also known as Contrast.
First, Contrast is a given. No one escapes difficult or unwanted conditions. It isn't possible to be alive and avoid contrast.
Second, we have to find our way of relating to it, approaching it, thinking about it and responding to it. Simply, your job isn't to calculate how to avoid contrast, it's how you'll use it. And, this makes all the difference in how your life goes.
Third, Contrast is a sign that a new manifestation is underway. Only when you have a strong experience of what you don't want can you get clearer and clearer about what you do want. This clarity leads to focus on your desire and THAT is how you create the manifestation.
When things start bubbling up, it's because there is movement on a particular desire(s). Some folks ask, "Is it normal for all hell to break loose in your life when you start to mediate?" The short answer is YES. Mediation allows you to align with our Inner-Being (other things do too) and this reduces resistance, letting more of what you want to flow into your life. All that flowing means that things need to reorganize/re-calibrate to match your new higher vibration. That's sometimes a shake up.
This is why it is so important that you relax, allow and remember that All Is Well, especially when Contrast shows up. If you resist through fear, negative emotion, thought patterns or uninspired action/reaction, you stop the flow, disallowing the creation of your desire or seriously slowing it down.
It's safe to trust that Contrast is part of the process and cannot harm you.
There is nothing to fear.
There is nothing to guard against.
Next time Contrast shows up try saying this... "Everything is always working out for me and help is on the way."
